We invite all the Association Members to nominate candidates to the 2024 OUTSTANDING ALUMNUS AWARD OF THE COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF CHILE

Candidates: Candidates shall have graduated from Columbia University and will be evaluated based upon their outstanding lifetime achievements, with special consideration to their contributions to Chilean public life while living and working in Chile. Except for members of the Board, any graduate of Columbia University living and working in Chile, or for whom the majority, or important parts, of their career and life has occurred in Chile, are eligible. Although awards can be made to mid-career professionals, the Board shall prefer individuals whose career is consolidated and whose accomplishments are sustained over their career as the highest-level reflection of Columbia values and greatest contribution to Chilean society.

Nomination: Entries must be filed on or before September 30th, 2024, and shall include the nominee’s full name, current title; telephone number and email address where the nominee may be reached, a statement describing in specific details the professional and personal biography of the nominee, and a statement describing how the nominee has contributed to Chilean society and reflects the criteria of the Award. Entries may be accompanied by exhibits, for example links to articles in the press, or descriptions of previous awards. Nominations shall be sponsored and signed by at least three members of the Association, and include the sponsors’ complete name, title, address, telephone and email address. Letters or emails from third parties explaining why the nominee is especially deserving are also welcome.

Award: Award is granted by the Board of the Columbia University Alumni Association Of Chile, and will be announced at the association’s end-of-year event.
