The Columbia Alumni Association of Chile hosted its annual Cocktail Party on October 14. The club honored the journalist and writer Daniel Matamala ’12JRN with the 2019 Outstanding Columbia University Alumnus award. The event featured Dean Pablo Allard of the Faculty of Architecture and Arts at Universidad Del Desarrollo, who gave the lecture “Form follows finance, invention and resilience: An urban history of New York City” —making all alumni nostalgic for NYC.
The event was supported by Columbia Global Centers Santiago, Carey and Falcon.
